Overview
Flugone Capsules offer multi-symptom relief from colds and flu in a single capsule, combining four active ingredients: paracetamol to relieve fever, headache and body aches; phenylephrine to clear a blocked nose; chlorpheniramine to ease sneezing, a runny nose and watery eyes; and dextromethorphan to calm a dry, tickly cough. Together they tackle the most troublesome symptoms of colds, flu and allergies at once. Flugone is a convenient choice for adults and children over 12 looking for fast, all-in-one relief during the flu season.
Active ingredients: Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine maleate and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide.
Directions for Use
Adults and children over 12 years: take 1-2 capsules every 6 hours as needed, swallowed whole with water. Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours. It is best taken with food to reduce stomach upset. Because it can cause drowsiness, an evening dose may suit better. Do not take alongside other paracetamol-containing or cold-and-flu medicines. Use for short-term symptom relief only; if symptoms persist beyond a few days, seek advice.
Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol product, to avoid overdose. May cause drowsiness: do not drive or operate machinery, and avoid alcohol. Not for children under 12. Use with caution, or avoid, if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, prostate problems or diabetes, due to the decongestant and antihistamine. Avoid with MAOI antidepressants. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Store below 30C in a dry place.
