Overview

Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges (24 pack) are medicated throat lozenges that soothe and help fight the discomfort of a sore throat. They contain two mild antiseptics (amylmetacresol and dichlorobenzyl alcohol) that help kill the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections, while the honey-and-lemon flavour and the act of sucking soothe the irritated throat and ease soreness. They are useful for the early sore throat of colds and minor throat infections. A trusted, comforting throat remedy for people at the first sign of a scratchy, sore throat.

Actives: Amylmetacresol 0.6mg and 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg per lozenge, with honey and lemon flavouring.

Directions for Use

Take as directed on the label. For adults and children over 6, usually dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours as needed, without exceeding the maximum number stated in 24 hours. Do not chew or swallow whole; let it dissolve to coat and soothe the throat. Use for short-term relief; see a doctor if the sore throat lasts more than a few days or is severe.
