Humalog Mix50 100 IU/ml (3ml, 5 pack) is a premixed insulin from Lilly combining 50% fast-acting insulin lispro with 50% intermediate-acting protaminated lispro. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Inject subcutaneously shortly before meals exactly as your diabetes team prescribes, resuspending the insulin by gently rolling and tipping until uniformly cloudy before each dose. Rotate injection sites. Never inject into a vein or muscle. Store unopened insulin refrigerated (2-8°C), never frozen; in-use pens/cartridges are kept at room temperature and discarded after the period stated in the leaflet.

Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) is the main risk. Learn the warning signs (sweating, shaking, hunger, confusion), always carry fast-acting sugar, and check glucose as advised. Doses may need adjustment with illness, exercise, alcohol, travel or other medicines. Keep your care team informed. Never share pens or needles.
