Overview
Getryl 2mg is an anti-diabetic medication (sulphonylurea) that contains glimepiride which is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.Getryl 2mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Getryl 2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Alcohol intake may increase or decrease the blood sugar lowering action in an unpredictable way.It should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment of Getryl 2mg Tablet may be needed.
