Glycinorm MR 30 mg Tablets contain Gliclazide 30 mg which is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glycinorm MR 30 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Alcohol intake may increase or decrease the blood sugar lowering action in an unpredictable way. Glycinorm MR 30 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy or lactation. It should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glycinorm MR 30 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
