Jardiance 10mg Tablets contain empagliflozin, a modern medicine that works through the kidneys to lower blood sugar and protect the heart and kidneys. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily in the morning, with or without food, swallowed with water. Keep to your diet, exercise and blood-sugar monitoring plan, and drink enough fluids. Continue taking it during normal days, but ask your doctor about pausing it during serious illness, vomiting, dehydration or before surgery. Attend regular reviews of blood sugar and kidney function.

Because it makes the urine sugary, it can increase genital yeast and urinary infections. Keep the area clean and seek treatment for itching, discharge or burning on passing urine. Seek urgent care for symptoms of a rare but serious acid build-up (ketoacidosis). Nausea, vomiting, deep breathing, drowsiness. Which can occur even with near-normal sugar.
