Nogluc 5mg Tablets contain glibenclamide, an oral antidiabetic medicine of the sulphonylurea class used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults. Alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise, Nogluc helps lower high blood sugar by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin. It is suited to adults whose blood glucose is not adequately controlled by lifestyle measures alone.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual approach is one tablet (5mg) taken once daily with or just before breakfast; your doctor may adjust the dose based on your blood sugar readings. Swallow whole with water and do not skip meals after taking it, as this can cause low blood sugar.

Not for use in type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, or severe kidney or liver impairment. May cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar). Carry a sugary snack and learn the warning signs (shakiness, sweating, confusion). Avoid alcohol, which can make blood sugar unpredictable. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Store below 25°C in a dry place.
