Empiget-M 5/1000mg Tablets combine empagliflozin 5mg with metformin 1000mg for adults with type 2 diabetes needing more than metformin alone. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet twice daily with meals to minimise stomach upset, swallowed whole with water. Maintain hydration, continue diet and exercise measures, and monitor blood sugar as advised. Do not adjust the dose yourself.

Not for type 1 diabetes or ketoacidosis. Seek urgent care for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or rapid breathing. Possible ketoacidosis even with normal readings.
