Jardian 25mg Tablets contain empagliflozin 25mg, an SGLT2 inhibitor for type 2 diabetes, and, in suitable patients, heart failure and chronic kidney disease. By helping the kidneys flush excess glucose out through the urine, empagliflozin lowers blood sugar while delivering proven protection for the heart and kidneys, with modest weight and blood pressure benefits. The 25mg strength is the higher standard dose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily in the morning, with or without food, swallowed whole with water. Maintain good hydration, continue diet and exercise measures, and monitor blood sugar as advised. Do not change the dose without medical guidance.

Seek urgent care for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or rapid breathing. Possible ketoacidosis even with near-normal glucose. Genital thrush and urinary infections are more likely. Maintain hygiene and report symptoms. Treatment may be paused during serious illness, before surgery or contrast scans. May cause dizziness from fluid loss, especially with diuretics. Rise slowly.
