Overview

Trelaz 100mg Tablets (4 pack) contain teneligliptin 100mg, a long-acting DPP-4 inhibitor for type 2 diabetes. Teneligliptin boosts the body's own incretin hormones so insulin is released when blood glucose rises and excess glucagon is suppressed. Delivering smooth, 24-hour glucose control with a low risk of hypoglycaemia and a weight-neutral profile, used alone or with other diabetes medicines.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, with or without food, at a consistent time. Continue diet and exercise measures and monitor blood sugar as advised. Do not adjust the dose yourself. (Confirm the per-tablet strength on your pack. Teneligliptin is commonly dosed at 20mg.)

Not for type 1 diabetes or ketoacidosis. Stop and seek care for severe persistent abdominal pain radiating to the back (possible pancreatitis). Report severe joint pain or blistering skin reactions. Tell your doctor about heart rhythm conditions (QT prolongation) and all other medicines. Hypoglycaemia risk rises when combined with sulfonylureas or insulin. Use in pregnancy on medical advice.
