Evolve Carmellose Eye Drops (10ml) are lubricating eye drops for the relief of dry, gritty, tired or irritated eyes. They contain carmellose (carmellose sodium), a gentle moisturising agent that coats and hydrates the surface of the eye, easing the burning, scratchiness and foreign-body feeling of dry eye. Whether from screen use, air conditioning, dusty conditions, contact lenses or reduced tear production. By replacing and stabilising the eye's natural tear film, they bring soothing, lasting comfort. A reliable tear-replacement option for people coping with everyday dry, tired eyes.
Active: Carmellose sodium (typically 0.5%). Confirm exact strength and preservative status on packaging.
Directions for Use
Use as directed on the label or by your eye-care professional. Commonly one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed through the day, and they can be used as often as required. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid and instil the drop without touching the dropper tip to the eye. Blink gently to spread the drop. They are usually suitable to use with contact lenses. Check the label.
For use in the eye only. See a doctor for eye pain, marked redness, discharge or any change in vision, which need assessment rather than just lubrication. If using other eye drops too, wait about 5 minutes between them. Discard within the period stated after opening (often 6 months, or sooner for single-use units); do not share.
