Cipro-Cent Eye Ointment 5g delivers ciprofloxacin 0.3%, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, in a long-contact ointment for bacterial eye infections. It treats conjunctivitis (pink eye), corneal ulcers and other susceptible eye infections, with the ointment format providing prolonged antibiotic contact. Ideal at bedtime or for patients who struggle with frequent drops. A dependable, affordable prescription option for the irritated, sticky, red eyes that bring many people to the pharmacy.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Wash hands, gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply a thin ribbon (about 1cm) of ointment into the pocket, usually two to three times daily or at night if combined with daytime drops. Close the eye for a minute afterwards. Vision blurs briefly after application. Complete the prescribed course and discard the tube 4 weeks after opening.

For eye use only. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment of an eye infection. Do not touch the tube tip to the eye or any surface, and do not share the tube. Mild stinging or temporary blurring is common. Avoid driving until vision clears. Stop and seek review for worsening redness, pain, swelling or vision changes.
