Overview

Ketolac 0.5% Eye Drops contain ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) for the eye. They relieve eye pain, inflammation, itching and irritation. For example after eye surgery such as cataract removal, or with seasonal allergic eye conditions. Unlike steroid drops, ketorolac reduces inflammation without affecting eye pressure. Supplied as a 5ml bottle for short-term use under medical guidance.

Tell your doctor about aspirin/NSAID allergy, asthma or bleeding tendencies. May cause brief stinging or blurred vision after instilling. Wait until vision clears before driving. Do not share the bottle, and discard as advised after opening. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Seek help if eye pain or redness worsens. Store below 25°C. Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Wash your hands first. Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid and instil the prescribed number of drops, usually a set number of times daily. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye. Remove contact lenses before use unless your doctor advises otherwise.
