Overview
Lacoma Eye Drops 2.5ml contain latanoprost, a prostaglandin analogue that lowers raised eye pressure in glaucoma and ocular hypertension. A single evening drop increases the eye's natural fluid outflow, protecting the optic nerve from the silent, sight-stealing damage of high pressure. First-line, once-daily glaucoma therapy in a precise micro-bottle.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Instil one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. Wash hands, tilt the head back, pull down the lower lid, instil without touching the tip to the eye, then close the eye and press the inner corner for a minute. Remove contact lenses before use; reinsert after 15 minutes. Space other eye drops at least 5 minutes apart. Do not exceed once daily. More frequent use reduces effectiveness.
May gradually and permanently darken the iris (more noticeable in mixed-colour eyes), darken eyelid skin and lengthen lashes. Mild stinging and redness can occur. Report eye pain, marked redness or vision change promptly. Tell your doctor about eye inflammation, previous eye surgery or herpes eye infections, and about asthma. Store as directed. Unopened bottles often need refrigeration; discard 4 weeks after opening. Glaucoma is symptomless. Never stop without your eye doctor's advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
