Overview

Barole 20mg contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes. It treats acid-related conditions such as heartburn, acid reflux (GORD), stomach and duodenal ulcers, and is used alongside antibiotics to clear H. pylori infection. By calming excess acid, Barole relieves burning chest pain and helps the gut lining heal. Supplied as a 30-capsule pack for a one-month course.

Active ingredient: Rabeprazole sodium 20mg per capsule.

Directions for Use

This medicine is usually taken once daily, in the morning before food. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not crush or chew it. For best results take it at the same time each day. Your doctor or pharmacist will advise how long to continue, as treatment length depends on the condition being managed.

Tell your doctor if you have liver problems or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Long-term use may affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels and slightly increase the risk of bone thinning.
