Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily in the morning, about 30 to 60 minutes before food, swallowed whole with water (do not crush or chew). Take it consistently at the same time each day for best effect, and complete any course your doctor sets even if symptoms ease early.

Tell your doctor if heartburn persists despite treatment, or if you have difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, black stools or vomiting. These need assessment. Long-term use can lower magnesium and vitamin B12 and slightly affect bone strength; your doctor will review continued use. May cause headache, wind or bowel changes.
