Esose 40mg Tablets contain esomeprazole, a proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) prescribed for moderate to severe acid reflux (GERD), erosive oesophagitis, stomach and duodenal ulcers, and as part of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy. The 40mg strength provides powerful, sustained acid suppression. Switching off the stomach's acid pumps so damaged tissue can heal and burning symptoms settle. For people whose heartburn does not respond to standard doses or antacids, Esose 40mg offers an affordable, effective prescription-strength solution under medical guidance.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is one 40mg tablet once daily, taken at least 30-60 minutes before a meal. Commonly before breakfast. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Treatment courses typically run 4-8 weeks; your doctor may then step down to a lower maintenance dose.

Do not use if allergic to esomeprazole or other PPIs. Seek prompt medical review for difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, persistent vomiting, or black or bloody stools. Long-term use can lower magnesium and vitamin B12 levels and may slightly increase fracture risk. Periodic review is advised. Interacts with clopidogrel and some HIV medicines.
