Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one capsule once daily, about an hour before a meal (preferably in the morning), swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew it. Take it for the full period your doctor advises; do not stop early just because symptoms settle. If symptoms persist after about 2 weeks, or you have alarm symptoms, see your doctor.

See a doctor promptly for difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, black stools or vomiting blood, as these need assessment. Tell your doctor about liver problems and all other medicines. Long-term acid suppression can lower magnesium or vitamin B12 and slightly affect bone strength. Use the lowest effective course. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 30°C.
