Overview
Sabezole DSR (10 pack) is a combination capsule used to relieve acid reflux, heartburn and related stomach symptoms. It contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid, and domperidone (in a sustained-release form) which improves the movement of the stomach and gut and helps prevent nausea and regurgitation. Together they treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity and the discomfort of a slow-emptying stomach. A doctor-prescribed option helping people find relief from troublesome reflux, heartburn and indigestion. Confirm the actives on the pack.
Actives: Rabeprazole sodium 20mg and Domperidone 30mg (sustained-release) per capsule.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one capsule once daily, about an hour before a meal (preferably in the morning), swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew it. Take it for the full period your doctor advises; do not stop early just because symptoms settle. If symptoms persist after about 2 weeks, or you have alarm symptoms, see your doctor.
Because of the domperidone component, tell your doctor about heart-rhythm problems (QT prolongation), heart failure, or low potassium/magnesium, and about liver problems. Domperidone is used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. See a doctor promptly for difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, black stools or vomiting blood. Long-term acid suppression can lower magnesium or vitamin B12. Tell your doctor about all other medicines. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
