Overview

Zentel 400mg Tablet is a convenient single-tablet deworming treatment containing albendazole. It is used to treat common intestinal worm infections including roundworm, hookworm, threadworm (pinworm), whipworm and tapeworm. Albendazole works by depriving the worms of the nutrients they need to survive, so they die and are cleared naturally from the body. Because many common worm infections respond to a single dose, this one-tablet pack offers a simple, effective way for adults and older children to treat worms and support good digestive health, with the option to repeat after two weeks where advised.

Active ingredient: Albendazole 400 mg per tablet.

Directions for Use

For most common worm infections, take a single tablet (400 mg albendazole) by mouth. The tablet may be chewed, or crushed, and can be taken with or without food. Taking it with a meal may help. For threadworm, it is often advised to treat the whole household at the same time and repeat the dose after 2 weeks if needed. For certain infections a longer course may be prescribed; follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.

Do not use if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant; use reliable contraception during treatment and seek advice if pregnancy is possible. Not generally recommended for children under 2 years except on medical advice. Tell your doctor if you have liver problems. Good hygiene.
