Overview
The DTS-Zinc Kit is a diarrhoea treatment kit that combines oral rehydration salts (ORS) with zinc, following the WHO-recommended approach to managing acute diarrhoea, especially in children. The ORS replaces the fluids and salts lost through diarrhoea to prevent and treat dehydration, while the zinc helps reduce the severity and duration of the diarrhoea episode and supports recovery. This kit is a practical, effective option for households and caregivers managing diarrhoea.

Directions for Use
Dissolve the ORS sachet in the stated amount of clean, safe water (follow the packaging exactly. Do not under- or over-dilute) and give frequent small sips, replacing fluids after each loose stool. Give the zinc daily for the full course stated on the pack (commonly 10-14 days), even once the diarrhoea stops. Follow age-specific instructions for children.

Prepare ORS only with the correct amount of clean water; never add sugar or salt. Continue normal feeding and breastfeeding. Seek medical care urgently if there is persistent vomiting, blood in the stool, high fever, signs of significant dehydration (very little urine, sunken eyes, lethargy), or if diarrhoea lasts more than a couple of days. Especially in babies and young children. Complete the full zinc course. Store in a cool, dry place. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Kit containing Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS. Glucose and electrolytes) plus Zinc (commonly zinc sulfate 20mg). Confirm exact contents on packaging.
