Maalox Plus Suspension (250ml) is a liquid antacid that also relieves trapped wind. It combines acid-neutralising aluminium and magnesium hydroxides with simethicone, which breaks up gas bubbles. Maalox Plus quickly soothes heartburn, acid indigestion, the discomfort of an acid stomach and the bloating and pain of trapped wind. The liquid form coats and acts fast for prompt relief. Directions for Use

Take as directed on the label. Usually one or two 5ml spoonfuls taken about 20 minutes to one hour after meals and at bedtime, or when symptoms occur. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure with the cup or spoon provided. Do not exceed the maximum daily doses stated on the pack. Take other medicines at least two hours apart from this antacid, as it can affect their absorption.

For short-term relief. See a doctor if indigestion or heartburn lasts more than two weeks, or with weight loss, difficulty swallowing or black stools. Separate from other medicines (including some antibiotics and iron) by about two hours. Use with caution in kidney problems, and on a low-sodium or low-magnesium diet check with your pharmacist. May cause mild changes in bowel habit. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 25°C; do not freeze.
