Overview
Duspatalin 135mg Tablets (50 pack) contain mebeverine, an antispasmodic medicine that relaxes the muscle of the gut wall. It is used to relieve the painful cramps, spasm, bloating and altered bowel habit of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and similar conditions. Mebeverine works directly on the bowel muscle to ease the tightening that causes colicky tummy pain, without affecting normal gut movement. Because it acts locally on the gut, it is generally well tolerated. A trusted, doctor- or pharmacist-recommended option for people troubled by IBS-related cramping and discomfort.

Active: Mebeverine hydrochloride 135mg per tablet.

Directions for Use
Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Usually one tablet three times a day, swallowed whole with water about 20 minutes before meals. Do not chew the tablets. Use regularly for ongoing symptoms, and your doctor may review and reduce the dose once symptoms settle. Combine with a healthy, regular diet and good fluid intake for best control of IBS symptoms.

See a doctor if you have new or changing bowel symptoms, bleeding from the back passage, unexplained weight loss, or persistent pain, as these need assessment to exclude other causes. Tell your doctor about porphyria (a rare condition) before use. Mebeverine is generally well tolerated; rarely it can cause a rash. Stop and seek advice if this happens. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
