BioGaia Baby Drops (5ml) are a probiotic supplement for infants, containing the well-studied friendly bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri. They are widely used to help soothe colic, reduce crying and fussiness, and support a healthy, settled tummy in babies, as well as to help restore good gut bacteria during and after tummy upsets or antibiotic use. The convenient drops are easy to give to even the youngest babies. A gentle, trusted way for parents to support their baby's digestive comfort and wellbeing. Confirm suitability with your clinic.
Active: Lactobacillus reuteri (probiotic) in a sunflower/medium-chain oil base. Confirm strain and CFU count on the pack.
Directions for Use
Shake the bottle well before each use (the drops separate naturally). Using the dropper, give the number of drops stated on the pack (commonly 5 drops once daily), either directly into the baby's mouth or mixed into a little cool milk or water. Do not add to hot food or drink, as heat harms the probiotic. Use once a day at a regular time. Once opened, use within the period stated on the pack.
A food supplement for infants. Use as directed and do not exceed the stated drops. The drops contain oil, so shake well and give carefully to avoid choking. Speak to your clinic or doctor before use if your baby was born prematurely, has a weakened immune system, or any medical condition. See a doctor if your baby has persistent crying, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, poor feeding or is not gaining weight. Store as directed (some presentations need refrigeration).
