LMW Enox 40mg (2 pack) contains enoxaparin, a low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) anticoagulant given by injection to prevent and treat harmful blood clots. It is widely used to prevent clots (DVT) in people who are immobile, after surgery, or during certain illnesses and pregnancies, and to treat existing clots such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine, given as an injection just under the skin (usually into the tummy area). The dose is set by your doctor based on your weight and condition. If you have been shown how to inject it at home, follow that technique exactly. Use each pre-filled syringe once, rotate sites, and do not expel the air bubble from a pre-filled syringe. Otherwise it is given by a nurse. Do not stop without advice.

As a blood thinner, it increases the risk of bleeding. Report unusual bruising, nosebleeds, blood in urine or stools, or any heavy or prolonged bleeding, and seek urgent care after a significant fall or head injury. Tell your doctor about kidney problems, recent surgery, stomach ulcers, or other medicines (including aspirin and NSAIDs). Dispose of used syringes in a sharps container.
