Overview
Ivadin 5mg (ivabradine) is a prescription heart medicine used to treat chronic stable angina (chest pain) and certain types of heart failure in adults whose heart rate remains high. It works by slowing the heart rate at the level of the heart's natural pacemaker, reducing the heart's workload and oxygen demand without lowering blood pressure in the same way as other heart drugs. Ivadin is often used when other medicines like beta-blockers are not enough or not suitable, helping improve symptoms and heart function.
