Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your cardiologist. Usually one tablet twice daily, morning and evening, with or without food, after stepwise titration from lower strengths. Never combine with an ACE inhibitor (such as enalapril); a 36-hour washout is required when switching. Do not stop or skip doses without medical advice, and attend regular reviews of blood pressure, kidney function and potassium.

Do not use in pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant. Stop and seek urgent care for swelling of the face, lips or tongue (angioedema). Dizziness and low blood pressure are common early. Rise slowly. Avoid potassium supplements and regular NSAIDs except on advice. Caution with kidney impairment and liver disease.
