Aztor 40mg Tablets (30 pack) contain atorvastatin, one of the world's most prescribed statins, from Sun Pharma. This higher-intensity 40mg dose lowers LDL ('bad') cholesterol substantially, prescribed for patients with high cholesterol, established heart disease, diabetes with cardiovascular risk, or after a heart attack or stroke. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 40mg tablet once daily, at any consistent time, with or without food. Take it long term; cholesterol rises again if you stop. Attend periodic lipid and liver blood tests. Continue heart-healthy eating, exercise and not smoking. The tablet supplements, not replaces, lifestyle.

Do not use in pregnancy, when planning pregnancy, or while breastfeeding. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly. Rare muscle breakdown risk, higher when combined with clarithromycin, itraconazole, ciclosporin or fibrates. Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice and limit alcohol. Caution with liver disease and uncontrolled hypothyroidism. May slightly raise blood sugar. Diabetics should monitor. Store below 30°C.
