Pitava 2mg Tablets (30 pack) contain pitavastatin, a cholesterol-lowering medicine from the statin family. It is used to lower high cholesterol. Reducing "bad" LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising "good" HDL cholesterol, and to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other heart problems. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day (it can be taken at any time of day), swallowed with water. Continue your healthy diet and exercise alongside it, and attend your cholesterol and liver blood tests.

Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly, especially with fever or dark urine, as statins can rarely cause serious muscle problems. Avoid excess alcohol, and tell your doctor about liver, kidney or thyroid problems, and all other medicines. Do NOT use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Store below 30°C.
