Rovista 20mg Tablets (30 pack) contain rosuvastatin, a potent statin that lowers high cholesterol. Rosuvastatin blocks a liver enzyme involved in making cholesterol, strongly reducing “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising “good” HDL cholesterol. By improving the blood-fat profile, it helps lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with high cholesterol or cardiovascular risk. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 20mg tablet once daily, at any time of day but at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Continue alongside a healthy diet and exercise, and attend reviews for cholesterol levels and occasional liver and muscle checks. Take long-term unless advised otherwise.

Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, especially with fever or dark urine. A rare but serious muscle effect. Tell your doctor about liver or kidney problems, thyroid disease, or Asian ethnicity (which may affect dosing), and avoid excess alcohol. Interacts with certain medicines including some used for HIV and gout (separate from antacids). Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use reliable contraception. Store below 30°C.
