Overview

Anustat Ointment is a soothing preparation for the relief of haemorrhoids (piles) and related anal discomfort. It helps ease pain, itching, swelling and irritation around the back passage and can give comfort during and after bowel movements. It suits the common discomfort of internal and external piles, including the haemorrhoids many women experience during and after pregnancy. Supplied in a 15g tube with applicator for targeted relief.

Directions for Use

For external and rectal use. Gently clean and dry the affected area before applying. Apply a small amount to the outside of the back passage, or use the applicator nozzle for internal piles, usually morning, night and after each bowel movement, or as directed. Wash hands before and after use. Use for short periods; see a doctor if symptoms persist beyond seven days.

For rectal/external use only. Do not swallow. Do not use on broken or infected skin without advice. Stop use if irritation, bleeding or an allergic reaction occurs and consult a doctor. Always seek medical advice for new rectal bleeding, as it needs proper assessment. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store below 25°C.
