Diltigesic Organogel is used for the treatment of anal fissures (tear in the lining of the anus). It promotes healing and reduces the associated symptoms by increasing the blood flow to the lining of the anus. Diltigesic Organogel promotes healing of fissures and provides pain relief. Diltigesic Organogel works in anal fissure by blocking the action of calcium on blood vessels of anus. As a result, blood vessels are relaxed which allows fissure (tear) to heal and relieves pain.
Diltigesic Organogel is for external use only.
The most common side effects are dizziness, local itching, soreness, rectal bleeding, and headache. You may also experience light-headedness, which could increase your risk of having a fall.
