Overview

Presartan 50mg Tablets contain losartan 50mg, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) for high blood pressure, with added protection for the heart and kidneys. Particularly valuable in diabetes-related kidney disease. Losartan relaxes and widens blood vessels and eases the strain on the kidneys, delivering smooth 24-hour blood pressure control from one daily tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue even when feeling well. Hypertension is silent, and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests (kidney function and potassium).

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. May cause dizziness, especially when starting or if dehydrated. Rise slowly. Avoid potassium supplements and salt substitutes unless advised; report muscle weakness or palpitations. Use caution in severe kidney impairment, renal artery stenosis and significant liver disease.
