Toras Denk 10mg tablets contains Torasemide/torsemide 10mg which is used in the treatment of oedema and high blood pressure. It treats oedema (fluid overload in body tissues) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease. Toras Denk 10mg Tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Toras Denk 10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time
Taking Torsemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. It is is probably safe to use during pregnancy and lactation.Torsemide is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended. It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
