Toras-Denk 10mg Tablets (30 pack) contain torasemide, a modern loop diuretic from Germany's Denk Pharma, prescribed to clear excess fluid in heart failure, kidney and liver disease, and to treat high blood pressure. Torasemide prompts the kidneys to remove surplus salt and water, easing swollen ankles, abdominal fluid and breathlessness, with a smoother, longer action and more predictable absorption than older diuretics. Torasemide 10mg per tablet. Contains lactose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Commonly 5-10mg once daily in the morning, with or without food. Morning dosing keeps night-time urination to a minimum. Do not stop or adjust the dose yourself; your doctor will fine-tune it against your weight, swelling and blood tests. Attend regular reviews of blood pressure, kidneys and electrolytes.

Can lower potassium and sodium. Report muscle cramps, weakness or palpitations and keep blood-test appointments. Caution with gout, diabetes, low blood pressure and severe liver disease (risk of triggering encephalopathy). Do not use with anuria (no urine output) or sulfonylurea allergy. Interacts with digoxin, lithium and NSAIDs. Tell your doctor everything you take. Rise slowly to avoid dizziness. Use in pregnancy only if clearly needed. Store below 30°C.
