Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Give only as directed by your doctor. The dose is based on the child's weight and infection, usually three times a day. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure with the supplied syringe or spoon. Can be given with or without food; giving with food may reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if the child feels better, and discard any remaining suspension after the stated number of days.

Do not give to anyone allergic to penicillin. Stop and seek urgent care for rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any allergies, kidney problems, or glandular fever (amoxicillin can cause a rash in this illness). May cause diarrhoea, nausea or thrush; report severe or bloody diarrhoea. Complete the course to avoid resistance. The reconstituted syrup is usually kept refrigerated. Follow the label and use within the stated days.
