ATM Suspension 15ml contains azithromycin in a child-friendly liquid form, prescribed for paediatric bacterial infections including chest infections, tonsillitis, ear infections and some skin infections. Azithromycin's once-daily dosing and short 3-5 day courses are a blessing for parents. Fewer doses, fewer battles, and the medicine keeps working in the tissues after the course ends. The small 15ml pack suits the short weight-based courses prescribed for babies and young children by clinicians.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. The dose is calculated from your child's weight, usually given once daily for 3 days. Shake the reconstituted suspension well and measure with the syringe or spoon provided. Give at the same time each day, with or without food. Complete the full course. Store as directed after mixing and discard leftover suspension after the labelled period.

Do not use with macrolide (azithromycin/erythromycin) allergy. Mild stomach upset or loose stools can occur; persistent watery diarrhoea, rash or breathing difficulty needs prompt review. Tell the doctor about any heart rhythm problems and all other medicines. Separate from antacids by 2 hours. Confirm the strength per 5ml on the bottle label before dosing.
