Azicure 250mg Tablets (6 pack) contain azithromycin, a convenient once-daily macrolide antibiotic prescribed for chest infections, throat and sinus infections, ear infections, skin infections and certain sexually transmitted infections. Azithromycin concentrates inside tissues and immune cells, which is why short 3-5 day courses keep working long after the last tablet. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Commonly 500mg (two 250mg tablets) once daily for 3 days, or 500mg on day one then 250mg daily on days 2-5, depending on the infection. Swallow with water, with or without food, at the same time each day. Complete the full course even if you feel better.

Do not use with known macrolide allergy. Caution with heart rhythm disorders (QT prolongation), low potassium or magnesium, severe liver disease and myasthenia gravis. Separate from antacids by 2 hours. Tell your doctor about warfarin, digoxin and ergot medicines. Stop and seek care for severe rash, watery persistent diarrhoea or palpitations.
