Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. It is reconstituted and given by a healthcare professional as an injection into a muscle or vein, or as a drip, at a dose and frequency decided by your doctor based on the infection. Complete the full course your doctor prescribes even if you feel better, to clear the infection fully and help prevent antibiotic resistance. Do not use leftover antibiotic for other illnesses.
Do not use if you have had a severe allergic reaction to penicillins or cephalosporins. Tell your doctor about any drug allergies. Seek urgent help for rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems or gallstones, and report severe or watery/bloody diarrhoea, which can occur during or after treatment.
