Claritek 500mg Tablets from Getz Pharma contain clarithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic prescribed for bacterial infections of the chest (bronchitis, pneumonia), throat and sinuses, ears, skin and soft tissues, and, in combination therapy, for eradicating Helicobacter pylori, the stomach bacteria linked to ulcers. Clarithromycin stops bacteria multiplying, allowing the immune system to clear the infection. Claritek offers people a quality-assured, affordable clarithromycin option for doctor-prescribed antibiotic treatment (10 tablets).

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is one 500mg tablet every 12 hours, with or without food, for the course your doctor prescribes. Commonly 7-14 days. Swallow whole with water at evenly spaced times. Complete the full course even if you feel better early. Stopping early encourages antibiotic resistance.

Do not use if allergic to clarithromycin, erythromycin or other macrolides, or together with certain medicines (including some statins, ergot medicines and others that affect heart rhythm). Tell your doctor everything you take. Use with caution in heart rhythm disorders (long QT), and liver or kidney disease. Common side effects include altered taste, nausea, stomach pain and diarrhoea; seek urgent help for severe rash, facial swelling or watery/bloody diarrhoea.
