Overview

Metrozol tablets contains Metronidazole 400 mg which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and parasitic infections. It is used in infections of the brain, reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, vagina, and other areas of the body. It is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.

Directions for Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Metrozol Tablet is to be taken with food.

Metrozol Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions) thus should be avoided with alcohol. It should be used with caution during lactation. Metrozol should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
