Micromox 400mg Tablets contain moxifloxacin 400mg, a respiratory fluoroquinolone antibiotic for serious bacterial infections. Including community-acquired pneumonia, complicated sinusitis and bronchitis flare-ups, and certain skin infections. When first-line antibiotics are unsuitable. One daily tablet delivers broad, potent coverage of respiratory pathogens, reserved for infections that warrant it.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time, with or without food, swallowed whole with plenty of water. Separate from antacids, iron, zinc and dairy-heavy meals by several hours. They block absorption. Complete the full prescribed course. Confirm the active ingredient with your pharmacist.

Stop and seek care for tendon pain or swelling (rupture risk, higher in older adults and with steroids), nerve symptoms (tingling, numbness), palpitations or fainting (heart rhythm effects), severe diarrhoea, or mood changes. Fluoroquinolones carry restrictive warnings. Avoid excessive sun and UV. Not for children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or people with certain heart rhythm conditions, myasthenia gravis or previous quinolone tendon injury. Maintain hydration.
