Netazox 500mg Tablets (6 pack) deliver nitazoxanide at full adult strength for parasitic infections of the gut. Giardiasis, cryptosporidiosis, amoebiasis and several worm infestations. Nitazoxanide blocks the enzyme pathway parasites use to generate energy, killing the organisms behind persistent diarrhoea, cramping and bloating. Its broad reach across protozoa and helminths in one short course makes it a versatile prescription choice for adults with confirmed or strongly suspected parasitic gut infections.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. The usual adult dose is one 500mg tablet every 12 hours with food for 3 days. Swallow whole with water during or just after a meal; food significantly improves absorption. Complete the full course even if symptoms settle earlier, and maintain good fluid intake throughout.

Take with food. May cause mild stomach ache, nausea or headache, and can harmlessly tint urine yellow-green. Caution in liver or kidney impairment and in patients on warfarin or other highly protein-bound medicines. Tell your doctor everything you take. Use in pregnancy only if clearly needed and breastfeeding on medical advice. Seek review if diarrhoea persists after the course or returns. Store below 30°C.
