Overview
Nitrofurantoin tables contains Nitrofurantoin 100 mg which is used in the treatment and prevention of bacterial infections of urinary tract. It is an antibiotic. It works by killing the bacteria in the urine that causes infection.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nitrofurantoin Tablet is to be taken with food.
Nitrofurantoin tablets should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
