Praziquantel Tablets (Cosmos, 100 pack) contain praziquantel, the key antiparasitic medicine for treating worm infections caused by flukes and tapeworms. Including schistosomiasis (bilharzia), a significant concern in many parts of Kenya, as well as liver flukes and tapeworm infestations. Praziquantel paralyses and kills the parasites so the body can clear them.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take exactly as prescribed. The dose is based on body weight and the specific infection, often taken as one or a few doses, swallowed whole with water during or after a meal. Do not chew the tablets (they are bitter). May cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery on the day of treatment and the day after. Mild abdominal discomfort, nausea, headache or hives can occur as the parasites die off.
