Trimic Forte L Vaginal Suppositories are a prescription treatment for vaginal infections, combining metronidazole and miconazole nitrate. Metronidazole clears bacterial and protozoal infections (bacterial vaginosis and trichomonal vaginitis), while miconazole treats fungal (thrush/candida) infections. This combination makes it useful for mixed vaginal infections, relieving symptoms such as abnormal discharge, itching and irritation. Inserted at night, it offers women a convenient, targeted treatment for common and mixed vaginal infections under a doctor's guidance.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands, then insert one suppository deep into the vagina at night, usually for 7 nights (or as your doctor advises; some courses run longer for recurrent infections). It is often best inserted lying down at bedtime. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve, and use a sanitary pad to protect clothing. Avoid use during your period unless advised.

This is a prescription medicine. Do NOT drink alcohol during treatment and for 48 hours after, as metronidazole can cause a severe reaction (flushing, nausea, vomiting). Avoid in the first trimester of pregnancy and use later in pregnancy or breastfeeding only if advised. Tell your doctor about liver or nervous-system problems. May cause local irritation or burning.
