Overview
Tumiflo 2mg Tablets contain tamsulosin 0.2mg (often labelled as the 0.2mg/2mg strength common in Asian markets), an alpha-blocker for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). Weak stream, hesitancy, incomplete emptying, urgency and night-time frequency. Tamsulosin relaxes the prostate and bladder-neck muscle to ease the urine flow and improve daily comfort.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, about 30 minutes after the same meal each day, swallowed whole. Take the first dose at bedtime to limit first-dose dizziness. Continue consistently; symptom relief builds over the first days to weeks. Confirm the exact strength on your prescription pack.
First-dose and early dizziness or fainting can occur. Rise slowly, especially at first, and avoid driving until you know your response. A harmless reduced or 'dry' ejaculation can occur. Tell your eye surgeon you take an alpha-blocker before any cataract surgery (it affects the iris). Use caution with blood pressure medicines and erectile-dysfunction drugs (additive lowering). Prostate symptoms should be assessed before treatment to exclude other causes. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Tamsulosin hydrochloride. Confirm exact strength on product packaging.
