Clonazepam 2mg Tablets contain a benzodiazepine used to treat certain seizure disorders (epilepsy) and, in some cases, panic disorder and other conditions under specialist guidance. Clonazepam calms excessive electrical activity in the brain and has anticonvulsant, anti-anxiety and muscle-relaxing effects. Because it carries dependence potential, it is prescribed and monitored carefully.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Take exactly as prescribed. Doses are individual and usually started low and increased gradually. Take at consistent times and never change the dose or stop suddenly: clonazepam must be tapered slowly under medical supervision, as abrupt stopping can cause withdrawal and rebound seizures. Confirm your regimen with your doctor.
Causes drowsiness, dizziness and impaired coordination. Do not drive until you know your response, and avoid alcohol, which is dangerous with benzodiazepines. Clonazepam has significant dependence and misuse potential. Use only as prescribed, for the agreed duration, and store securely. Combining with opioids or other sedatives can dangerously suppress breathing. Tell your doctor about breathing problems, liver disease, depression, and pregnancy.
