Mirtaz 30mg Tablets (30 pack) contain mirtazapine, Sun Pharma's antidepressant for major depression. Particularly helpful where poor sleep and loss of appetite dominate. Taken once at night, mirtazapine lifts mood through its action on noradrenaline and serotonin systems while its sedative effect restores sleep from the first nights, and it tends to support appetite recovery. The 30mg strength is the common maintenance dose, helping people with depression rebuild rest, appetite and energy under their doctor's care.

Mirtazapine 30mg per film-coated tablet. Contains lactose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet at bedtime, with or without food. Full antidepressant effect builds over 2-4 weeks; keep taking it even when you start feeling better, and do not stop abruptly. Your doctor will taper the dose when the time is right. Avoid alcohol.

Causes drowsiness, especially early on. Do not drive until you know your response. Increased appetite and weight gain are common. Report immediately: fever, sore throat or mouth ulcers (rare blood disorder), worsening mood or thoughts of self-harm, or signs of mania. Caution with epilepsy, liver or kidney impairment, heart disease and low blood pressure. Do not combine with MAOIs, and tell your doctor about all serotonergic medicines.
