Mexic 7.5 mg tablets contain meloxicam 7.5 mg which is used in pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation (pain and swelling).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mexic 7.5 mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Taking meloxicam with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding. Mexic 7.5 mg should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
