Mobic 15mg Tablets contain meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, swelling and stiffness in joint conditions. It is commonly prescribed for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, helping to ease joint pain and improve movement so daily activities become more comfortable. Meloxicam works by reducing the body chemicals that cause inflammation and pain, and its once-daily dosing is convenient for long-term joint conditions. Mobic is for adults whose doctor has recommended an anti-inflammatory to manage arthritis-related pain and stiffness.

Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once a day with water, preferably with or just after food to protect the stomach. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed to control symptoms. Do not take more than the prescribed amount, and do not combine with other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen or diclofenac). Take it at about the same time each day.

Avoid if you are allergic to meloxicam, aspirin or other NSAIDs, or have a stomach ulcer, severe heart, liver or kidney disease, or are in the last three months of pregnancy. Use with caution if you have high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease or indigestion. NSAIDs can cause stomach irritation or bleeding. Take with food and report black stools, severe stomach pain or vomiting blood. Avoid alcohol and do not combine with other NSAIDs. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
